Eden Garden School was founded in 1989 by renowned educationist Mr. Kailash Nath Srivastava (1913-1993). The school is located near Sarnath in Varanasi, one of the oldest living cities in the world and widely regarded as the spiritual capital of India. The school is recognized by the state government and runs classes from kindergarten up to Grade Five. Current strength is 110 with most of the students coming from lower income families. Most of these families are below poverty line segment as defined by the Government of India.
